GigaSpaces, the leading provider of an operational data hub platform, Smart DIH, is bolstering its collaboration with IBM: The company has achieved the Gold Business Partner status of IBM’s Build Partner Program, which opens up new collaboration paths and joint go-to-market activities with the tech giant.
“IBM has become a strategic partner for us, and this partnership allows enterprises to accelerate their digital modernization journeys over existing IBM Power systems (AS/400)”, says Adi Paz, GigaSpaces CEO, who recently returned from IBM Think ’23 – the company’s annual global partners event in Orlando, FLA.
“The ability to develop low-code data-centric applications over hybrid multi-cloud environments without having to replace core database systems has a significant business impact: It enables organizations to leverage their IT investments, reduce TCO, and shorten development cycles of new services”, adds Paz.

“Organizations are constantly looking for ways to make the most of their business data – whether stored on IBM systems, such as IBMi, or on any competing system of record”, says Uri Hayik, CTO of IBM Israel. “Smart DIH provides an innovative and robust legacy modernization platform that allows organizations to meet the growing demand for real-time digital applications and the AI insights above them. This is the foundation of the ‘Modernization without Migration’ approach that GigaSpaces and IBM partnered to offer our customers worldwide”.
