We’ve been thinking a bit about our approach to blogging at GigaSpaces lately. Our original thinking about this company blog was for it to be a group blog, similar to what the guys at Interface21 have been doing lately, and what the guys at JBoss and others have been doing. For whatever reason, it hasn’t worked out for us (maybe we’ve got people who are too individualistic here at GigaSpaces).
Whatever the reason, we had a bunch of GigaSpacers running their own individual blogs, and this company blog essentially became Nati Shalom’s blog. That’s fine, but we figured if that’s the case why not have Nati write his own blog and we’ll use this space for referencing the individual GigaSpaces bloggers when appropriate, point to other relevant bloggers when called for and also be able to use this blog for announcements on company events, news and product releases. So that’s what we’ll be doing from now on.
