Summary: Getting a license key and defining it in the space schema.

License Key File

When you download GigaSpaces XAP EDG from the Internet, you will receive an email message with a valid license key. Edit the <GigaSpaces Root>\gslicense.xml file and copy the license key to the <licensekey> tag value.
The installation key is in the following form:

"Aug 26, 2010~GS@JN9XXXXXXXXNQO1RuV#XAP^XAP6.0%UNBOUND"

To install the license, insert the license string between the license key tags:

<licensekey>
Aug 26, 20100~GS@JN9XXXXXXXXNQO1RuV#XAP^6.0XAP%UNBOUND
</licensekey>

Locating the License File

You can search for the license file in the following order:

  1. In the classpath.
  2. Current directory or, if specified, in the location pointed by the com.gs.home system property.
