Overview

GigaSpaces version 6.0.3 includes critical bug fixes and aggregate patches that were released in versions 6.0.1 and 6.0.2.

Version 6.0.3 can run side by side with 6.0.2 on the same subnet, after setting different Jini groups.

This page is relevant only if you are upgrading from version 6.0.2 to version 6.0.3.

Upgrading to GigaSpaces Version 6.0.3

To upgrade to GigaSpaces 6.0.3, perform the following steps:

1. Unzip the GigaSpaces 6.0.3 installation.
2. Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\bin folder with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\bin folder. The gs.sh 6.0.3 script includes bug fixes.
3. Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib folder with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib folder.
4. Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\cpp folder with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\cpp folder, if required.
5. Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\dotnet folder with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\dotnet folder, if required.

When upgrading from Version 6.0.3 you need to copy the following list of jar files from lib directory:

• Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib\JSpaces.jar file with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib\JSpaces.jar.
• Replace the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib\openspaces\openspaces.jar file with the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib\openspaces\openspaces.jar.
• Replace all the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib\jini jar files with those from the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib\jini folder.
• Replace all the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib\ServiceGrid jar files with those from the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib\ServiceGrid folder.
• Replace all the <GigaSpaces6.0.2>\lib\ui jar files with those from the <GigaSpaces6.0.3>\lib\ui folder. Specifically the JSpaces-ui.jar file.
