Summary: Syntax, usage and options for all commands. To start the CLI type gs in the Service Grid directory.


spacePerforms different operarations on a space, according to the chosen command:

create – Makes a space active on one or more machines.

restart – Restarts the specified space.

list – Lists spaces in the network.

clean – Removes all Entries and templates from the space.

destroy – Destroys the specified space and removes all references to it, including persistent ones.

ping – Provides a convenient way to test a space.

start – Starts a pre-existing space after it was stopped.

stop – Stops a preexisting space.

shutdownContainer – Stops the container and all the spaces in it, and unregisters all the associated proxies from the Lookup Services.

config – Displays the specified spaces's configuration details.

sql – Queries specified space.

copy – Copies all objects from the specified source space to the specified destination space.


adminModifying username and password for the container administrator; determining whether multicast is available.

userAdmin – Modifies user name and password for the container administrator.

multicastTest – The page admin multicastTest Service Grid CLI does not exist.



cd

Moves to a different working directory, like the Unix cd command.


deploy

Makes one or more application deployment units active on a machine.


destroy

Destroys a specific set of services over the network.


help

Displays syntax of specified Service Grid CLI command, or list of all commands.


http

Starts an HTTP server and displays IP address, port, roots.


jconsole

Launches Admin UI for browsing the JMX instance associated with a specific GSC.


list

Lists information about active Service Grid services.


ls

Lists the contents of the current working directory, like the Unix ls command.


pwd

Displays path of current working directory, like the Unix pwd command.


quit

Ends the Service Grid CLI session.


redeploy

Renews one or more application deployment units.


set

Sets the Service Grid system environment variables.


stats

Provides statistics from the GSC and GSM of the local machine.


task

Submits a task in the form of an Ant configuration file.


undeploy

Makes one or more application deployment units inactive.
