Overview

The following table lists databases supported by GigaSpaces. The Storage Adapter URL column indicates the path of the directory containing files that define each database's properties, authentication, and related Storage Adapter parameters.
Two files must reside in the properties directory: jdbc.properties, containing information about the driver class, URL, and authentication information that the JDBC driver uses to connect to the RDBMS; and types.properties, containing information about mapping Entry-field types to the types used in each database.
You should fill in jdbc.properties with your specific databases properties. There is generally no need to edit the types.properties file in each property directory; these perform adequate mapping for the types of each database.
