Risk analysis of financial trades and positions is critical to the operation of every financial institution. Reducing risk calculation duration provides a competitive edge with short calculation cycles, reduced settlement risk, and lower operational costs. The massive computation is typically performed using powerful compute grids. However, scaling the solution to meet the ever-increasing loads can no longer rely on direct access to the compute grid, but should rather store the data in-memory for real-time access, while keeping the data highly-available and easily-scalable, and maximizing use of the organization’s private cloud.

This webinar presents an innovative approach for this problem that takes advantage of GigaSpaces' XAP intelligent and active In-Memory Data Grid to manage the calculation lifecycle and stream the results back to the client as they arrive, thereby providing significant performance boost. This approach is successfully used by multiple tier-1 financial institutions to significantly speed up the risk analysis time.
