GigaSpaces Releases Version 3.2

GigaSpaces is pleased to announce the release of GigaSpaces Platform 3.2 for free evaluation.


GigaSpaces Platform is the first commercial implementation of JavaSpaces and first clustered space implementation with flexible clustering policies, including SSI.

Version 3.2 introduces the first JavaSpaces-based distributed caching implementation, which can be accessed using the rich JavaSpaces API and the standard Java Map interface. Existing JavaSpaces applications benefit transparently, without changing a single line of code, boosting read performance by an order of magnitude. An optimistic locking mechanism provides consistency and coherency in read-mostly scenarios with highly concurrent applications

GigaSpaces Platform 3.2 comes with a One-Click-Cluster feature. High availability clusters can be created with one click of a mouse.
