With today's massive amount of transactions overloading a single system, Complex Event Processing (CEP) is becoming a crucial part of business architectures in financial corporations. Because our computing environments are becoming more and more distributed and virtualized, CEP must also provide enterprises with a way to consume these events in a scalable way.

Nati Shalom, GigaSpaces CTO, will speak at Accenture's Java Community of Practice for training Accenture technologists.

Nati will discuss how a leading wall street firm managed to apply those same principles to handle such a disaster failure scenario while ensuring continuous availability of their real time web application with GigaSpaces elastic middleware. Nati's presnetation will be followed by a real-time demonstration.

During this technical update and live demo, Uri Cohen, GigaSpaces Product Manager, will recap recent XAP releases, and provide a detailed overview of the new GigaSpaces XAP 7.1.

Uri will cover GigaSpaces Elastic Middleware Services: the ability to set up a dynamic cluster for an application in one API call. The first milestone – the Elastic Data Grid – is part of the new XAP 7.1 release.
